We hosted over 40 free Anishinaabe language classes with over 700 participants in 2025!
Our classes provided participants with the opportunity to speak the Anishinaabe language in immersion settings, listen to Aadizookaan (“winter stories”), learn about Anishinaabe culture and craft-making, and harvest medicines.
We hosted over 50 free Anishinaabe language classes with over 300 participants in 2024!
2024 was also a special year for another reason: we also hosted our very first Aadizookaan event where Anishinaabe language speakers shared stories in the Anishinaabe language.
